  • Are these golf scooters easy to ride?
    YES. If you can ride a bicycle, you can probably ride a Golfscootz scooter easily. Take a look at our safety video here.
  • Are the Golfscootz scooters harmful for the golf course?
    NO. They are very light compared to a normal golf cart and have wide tyres that do not tear up the grass
  • How long does it take to fully charge the scooter?
    Our scooters have li-ion batteries which take approx 6 hours to fully charge. For your convenience, you can remove the battery to charge it, or leave it installed in the scooter.
  • How many rounds of golf can I expect out of one charge?
    Terrain, rider weight, golf clubs weight, wind and tyre pressure all effect the distance on a single full charge. 18 holes are easily achieved*, but many riders are getting 36 holes. * For our testing, we had a 120Kg rider + 25Kg golf bag and used both eScooters during a normal round of golf lasting over 4.5 hours. We documented the loss of only 1 green bar on the battery indicator gauge.
  • Are these scooters legal in Australia?
    All our models are designed and sold on the basis of off-road use. Each State and Territory of Australia has different laws and a different set of rules and regulations pertaining to the usage of Electric Bikes/Scooters/Boards including where these products can legally be used and whether they need to be registered with the relevant road traffic authority. Any user of these scooters must ensure that they check and abide by their local laws and use them responsibly. Our scooters have NOT been designed to be road registered, or used on a public road. Golfscootz cannot be held responsible for any incident, off road or if you use the scooter on the road.
  • How fast can I ride?
    It depends on the overall weight and ground conditions. While both models are rated at approx 45kph top speed on a flat surface, we have limited them to a maximum speed of 25Kph for your safety.
  • Can I use the scooter in the rain?
    YES. All our models are fully waterproof. We DO recommend to ride slowly and carefully in wet conditions to avoid sliding either when turning or braking.
  • What about safety?
    The liability of injury to the rider or any other person and / or any property lies with the rider of the scooter. We cannot predict what the rider might do during operation, or any other circumstances that may contribute to any accident. The purchaser of the scooter must sign a waiver in order to purchase one of our scooters. You can read waiver HERE
  • What about the batteries?
    As with all Lithium Ion batteries, there is a level of maintenance required. Generally speaking, you can expect can expect 2-3 years (400-500 charging cycles) before the battery may need replacing. You can read the full guidelines HERE
